With more than 3.5 billion social media users each month, no sane brand manager would overlook Facebook, Instagram or YouTube (these ones are the best in my opinion, so I’ll be talking only about these 3, but the same method applies to any social media channel) as a potent platform that has massive amounts of potential when it comes to improving brand awareness and popularity, and growing sales and revenue. Like most other advertising platforms, the overall effectiveness of your social media marketing campaign largely depends on your ability to keep your offer relevant, engaging, and relevant in the minds of its intended target audience. To do this effectively, on your advertising campaign you must identify your ideal customer and create an irresistible offer specifically for them. In other words, find a group of people and give them what they want. Because of social media channel’s popularity—440+ million photos uploaded daily between Facebook and Instagram and more than 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute—you cannot overlook it: you must make it part of your digital marketing strategy. This book reveals what I learned after 5 years of digital marketing losing money and learning from my mistakes. After losing thousands of dollars, watching tons of hours of videos and courses, reading marketing and sales books, paying to other people to teach me how to make it work, I realized that it is always the same, it is a straight line.
